Tech Support FAQs
Check: Perform updated ground procedure and/or set the fuel gauge parameters in the speedometer.
Check: Inspect the park brake interlock for proper function
Check: Disconnect each switch, one at a time. If the network returns to normal when a switch is unplugged, the unplugged switch will need to be replaced.
NOTE: New switches must be programmed by the Sutphen Service and Technical Division before installing on the apparatus.
Check: Ensure the wiring to the leveling switch is reading 12V, that the ground is functioning properly and that there are no lose connections. Also, be sure to check that the leveling valve is not leaking or broken, typically caused from overtightening. The leveling valve should only be hand tight.
Check: Inspect the accelerator pedal for a 5V reference signal. If you cannot find a signal there, check the coolant temperature sensor and/or look for the C-8 red wire 5V reference.
Check: If the aerial PTO light is not illuminating, look for wear and tear with the pressure switch; investigate the park brake interlock module and/or inspect the PTO solenoid circuit.
Check: First, see if the throttle pedal is locked out. If it is not locked out, inspect the throttle interlock box. If you cannot find the solution, contact your local, certified Sutphen service center or the Sutphen Service and Technical Division directly.
Check: There may be a bad connection at the connectors at the rear of body. Be sure to check both sides at different times and inspect the 8B yellow wire. You can also inspect the switches themselves for issues.
Check: Inspect the pressures at the power steering pump and confirm the readings with your local, certified Sutphen service center or the Sutphen Service and Technical Division directly.
Check: Check the condenser fan relay and/or the ground to the condenser fan.
