Dan Sutphen began his career in sales with Sutphen Corporation in 1975. Since then, Dan has become one of the most respected and accomplished fire apparatus sales professionals in the industry.

Known for his charisma and unwavering commitment to the Sutphen customer experience, Dan has built a legacy rooted in relationships, trust and service. Like many family businesses, Dan got his start helping after school and on weekend mornings, gradually working his way from helping hand to fire truck manufacturer – and ultimately into sales where he found his true calling.

In addition to his dedication to the family business, Dan also answered the call to serve his country. He is a proud veteran of the United States Army, having served honorably from 1971 to 1975.

Today, Dan continues as Vice President of Sales and serves on Sutphen’s board of director, shaping the company’s future while honoring its proud heritage.
